Budgy Smuggler have always been on a mission to free the thighs of the world. Their latest mission? They are searching for the UK’s Most Ordinary Rig.
Budgy Smuggler are more concerned about the character of the person wearing their Smugglers, than whether you can grate cheese on their abs or not. This competition is a celebration of the ordinary.
The UK’s most elite ordinary rigs will gain a place in the final where they’ll fight it out in a Miss World Pageant meets Victoria’s Secret Parade to be crowned the UK’s Most Ordinary Rig 🤪
The winner will receive a one year modeling contract with Budgy Smuggler, a Billboard in their home town ("Welcome to [town], home of the UK's Most Ordinary Rig] plus a trip to Australia in 2023 to compete in the World's Most Ordinary Rig!
They’re looking for rigs who meet the following criteria:
🍻 Good to have beers with
🚕 Can still run for a taxi, swing an axe and carry the shopping in one go
🏅 Looks like they were good at sport at some point in their lives but were prevented by injury or poor coaching selection at a young age
💪🏼 A six pack is an automatic disqualification (unless you are carrying it)
To nominate yourself or a friend and enter The UK's Most Ordinary Rig, post an entertaining Instagram feed post (photo or video) of yourself in your Smugglers in all your ordinary-ness and tag #OrdinaryRigUK @BudgySmugglerUK and you’re in the running to win. It's that simple. (Remember you must be on public for us to see your entry)
