We are BUZZING for the Jubel team to join us for this year's festival 😍
Ahead of this year, we caught up with the team at Jubel and they filled us in on how the brand began & what they're looking forward to at B7s.
'On a ski trip to the alps we discovered two things at an après-ski bar called La Folie Douce. The first was beer pêche - a pint of lager with a peach top. The second was a song that closed out an afternoon of après. The song was called Jubel and it meant “a feeling of extreme joy” - a suitable summary after a few pints of pêche at altitude.
This dangerously refreshing beer tradition swiftly became the beer style we wanted to drink that no one brewed, so we sunk what little savings we had into learning how to brew and slept on the floor of our warehouse in the process. We took a trial brew, a hay bale bar, and some DIY branding to a festival, and after completely selling out we quit the 9-5 with a vision to pioneer a new style of beer.
We brew dangerously refreshing beer cut with fruit, and exist to bring Après to the everyday.
We are super excited to be onboard with Bournemouth 7s this year with our top secret new event build. Expect to see dancing on tables, live music, ice cold pints and as much summer session you can handle.'
