Bournemouth 7s Festival has an incredibly dynamic and creative team and over the coming months we’d like to introduce you to the people behind the World’s Largest Sport and Music Festival.
In this ‘Meet The Team’, we caught up with our Commercial Manager:
Name: Callie Worth
Role: Commercial Manager
Fun Fact: Harry Styles once offered to pay my Uni fees
B7s Tenure: 1 Festival
Can you tell us about your role as Commercial Manager in more detail?
Alongside my colleagues Paul & Craig, I manage all of the Commercial Partnerships at Bournemouth 7s Festival. I essentially look after them from pre to post festival, which is an amazing and exciting role to play in the business.
I create bespoke and tailored partnership proposals for each brand we work with and follow up with an Activation Schedule which outlines all of their marketing entitlements which I carry out throughout the year to ensure the brands we work with receive maximum exposure.
When it comes to the festival weekend, I also get the incredible job of managing all of our Sponsors & Partners onsite, making sure they are happy with their activation & branding and that they are getting the best experience possible!
What is your top highlight of Bournemouth 7s Festival?
Although I’ve helped out here and there with the festival over the last 5 years, B7s 2021 was my first festival as an official member of the Bournemouth 7s team. I’m sure the team would agree that it was a challenging year to say the least, but watching our team pull together and make it happen was incredibly inspiring and overwhelming to be honest.
Witnessing the camaraderie was my favourite part of this year and knowing that you work in a business where everyone supports one another and does everything they can in order to make the festival the success it is!
However there is one part of the festival that really sticks out in my mind. I specifically remember walking back to the site office when Ella Eyre was playing and the crowd involvement and sound of voices singing ‘We don’t have to take our clothes off, to have a good time’ was something special and a moment I’ll never forget.
What are you most looking forward to for 2022?
I’m most looking forward to working alongside our Sponsors & Partners again next year. It’s a privilege to build relationships with brands throughout the year and then see their products / activations / stories come to life at Bournemouth 7s. Our legendary audience engage with our partners across the festival weekend and it’s a really proud moment to be able to witness.
