Bournemouth 7s Festival has an incredibly dynamic and creative team and over the coming months we’d like to introduce you to the people behind the World’s Largest Sport and Music Festival.

In this ‘Meet The Team’, we caught up with our Creative Director:

Name: Matt Hall

Role: Creative Director

Fun Fact: I like dad jokes and I once got banned from B&Q. This guy asked if I wanted decking, but luckily I got the first punch in. **BA DUM TSS**

B7s Tenure: 7 years

Can you tell us a little more about your role as Creative Director?

Like most the team, I’m a man of many hats so I’ll try to keep this brief. I essentially head up all of the creative & marketing output for the business; from branding, design & marketing, to social media & content creation. My days can really vary, I can one day be creating a concept & brand identity for a new music stage, the next, I’ll be planning and launching a new marketing campaign. As a small tight-knit team, we all tend to lend a hand across multiple areas of the business to help maximise the value we offer, not just within our day to day roles, but as a way of understanding every aspect of the company to help with future growth and opportunities for the group.

What is your top highlight of Bournemouth 7s Festival?

For me, my highlight has been to see the growth of the festival over the past 5 years. It’s testament to the whole teams hard work and “one team, one dream” work ethic that we’ve been able to build on successful festival, after successful festival.

What are you most looking forward to for 2022?

Having more time to organise everything 🤣 Last year was incredibly intense on the team but we smashed it and I can’t wait to see what we can deliver for 2022 with A LOT more time to plan.
